A few people seem to assume because I'm chatting I'm looking to cheat. Well I tell you now that is not my intention. When you are at home with small children it is hard to go out with friends and do the social thing. Chatting online is a welcome outlet. You've got to admit without some form of adult conversation we'd all go a little insane. I asked this question as I simply wished to see how other couples view the situation, my husband actually doesn't mind.

yes, i'm married. and yes, i talk to friends in my group. my wife knows that my love is pure and true and i won't stray away from her. and i won't do anything that would hurt her. the key is trust and that's what our relationship is built upon.

sass,

this had been an ongoing situation with my wife and i, we came to the conclustion of reality when we thought in the context of accidents happen. and they do. you can accidentally fall in love. all relationships have there ups and downs and if your on a down (even if you dont notice it) your more proned to accidentally fall in love with somone else ( the greener grass theory applies here) its ok to have freinds of the same gender and the same mentality about marriage and love as you and your partner. but its a fact that when a guy is married and hangs out with another guy that is single he is compelled to be more like the single. my wife and i have decided that we want our marriage to last and we like to keep our friends that are of like mind as our closest friends and single friends as people we hang out with together never alone.
protecting our marriage is a priority and avoiding the accidental love thing. good luck

ha, my hubby gets upset if there is a male on my myspace page...he doesn't even care if I grew up with them..so yeah he would mind about me chatting online to people..assuming you are talking about the opposite sex. If you want to keep your relationship save, you might not want to do it anymore...if your partner minds that is.

yes i've been married for almost 9 years and both me and my husband talk to both men and women on the computer and we are happy with each other so we have nothing to hide. we dont try to cheat on each other or anything. we only chat to carry on casual conversation.
