I see it often. A group of people will walk down the street and throw their trash down right on the sidewalk or in the street. They don't think about it at all. It has become a natural habit for them.
When I was a child, my friends and I did the same thing. Many people did it. It was normal behavior in the "hood". As I got older, I began think "I would throw trash on the floor in my home. Why would I do it outside?" I thought about the trash piling up on the streets and I never did it again.
Throwing trash on the floor is a learned behavior. It is in the realm of normality for many people. Many people fail to come to the realization that they are simply trashing up the place.

Wow so many racists thinking white people have more manners then everyone else, I have seen white people throw trash on the ground even more. Also I agree with daddysboicub

Sterotypes are sterotypes for a reason. Not ALL black people do this, but in a society or group of people, certain things become natural or acceptable. This behavor is generally a learned response from the surroundings and people around. So if everyone around them is doing it, it becomes acceptable and natural to do so. Everyone has habits that are trained by society they are in.

I guess because they figure "Hey, I see some of the biggest trash walking around right over there, it must be that trash no longer belongs in the trash can!"

hey...its not very nice to form a prejudicial opinion about another race. Please don't say why black people do this, or white people do that and brown did that....
manners are not formed by color of the skin, but the attitude of the person, and remember that there is only one color, the color red, the color of blood. Because even if you have the most colorful skin, without blood you can't live.

why are you "stereotyping", if you really want to get your facts straight, watch sometime, you will see more whites do it, because whites have the attitude of "somebody gets paid to clean up after me, so if i dont throw it on ther floor, then they dont have anything to do".
