Everyone's cycle varies, if you can narrow yours down, (I use Your Days.com for my ovulation calander) then you stand a better chance. From everything that I have read, the best time to try is the few days before ovulation, and the actual day of ovulation.
You just need to know your cycle. I typically ovulate 14-15 days after the first day of my period. This is the average. My one friend is now pregnant with her second child and she always gets pregnant by having sex right after her period is over.
Best advice I can give you...have a ton of sex, because most womens ovulation time is a moving target!!
Good luck to you!!

Hi there,
The best time to get pregnant varies from woman to woman.
You can get pregnant from 1 day before to 5 days after you ovulate - this is because your fertile fluid helps support spermies and spermies are strong little buggers that will hang around in the tubes just waiting to pounce on an unsuspecting egg!!!
Try using OV Tests - the first time you use them you will need to start testing from 5 days after you start your period. After that you will have a pretty good idea as to when you ovulate - which will off course be the best time for you to become pregnant.
Hope this helps and best of luck TTC
Regards
Joanne

Depends on how long your cycle is. If you are 28 days from the day each period starts, start trying about day 12 counting from the first day of your period. It's different from person to person. There are methods on how to tell when you're ovulating including taking your temperature. Some people get a cramp when they're ovulating (I do) and that gives you an idea.

About the 12th to 14th day after your period. If you want a boy, don't have sex and do not let your man masturbate until that time in order to allow the sperm to build up to a greater number.
You can also give yourself a baking soda douche prior to sex and lie with your pelvis up on a pillow afterward or any position that aids gravity to the womb such as lying on a slant board with your head closest to the floor for 15 minutes.
For a girl, you can have intercourse before the 12th day but make sure you do have it between the 12th and 13th day. A vinegar douche on the 12th or 13th day may make the vagina more susceptible to letting the sperm that creates a female get to the egg first. Some people think this is just a theory, but I have tried it and it worked for me. Good Luck!

The best time to try and get pregnant is mid-cycle or right after. But it might be kind of gross to try and get pregnant in the middle of your period. Just saying

When you are ovulating. You should have intercourse right before ovulation. This usually happens at the midway point in your cycle. You can chart with temperature and such or you can buy an over the counter ovulation kit (not very expensive). Good luck!

Within a couple of days of ovulation. Although this usually happens 14 days after the onset of your last period, this isn't always the case. I believe some people take their temperature to ascertain the exact day, as the body temperature rises slightly. Try this website for more detail.

Id say in the evening. It helps if you have a recumbant cycle as well. I suppose a tandem could do it too as long as the seats are close together.
