If you are not left-handed, it will be much harder to learn.
Lefties like me, have to learn to adapt to a 'right-handed' world. Just look around you at all the items designed to be used with the right hand.
I am able to write with both hands at the same time, play many sports with either hand, etc. I love it!
When painting a room, I can always outlast other helpers, because when my left hand gets tired, I just switch to the right hand, and keep on painting!
The only way I know to learn is to practice, practice, practice!

I don't think it's something you can easily learn if you aren't already born that way.
I'm right handed at everything unless it involves billiards or any other cue game. I never realized I was ambidextrous at pool until someone pointed i was marginally more accurate playing with my left hand.
Weirdness.

When I was little, I got a swat if I used my left hand for anything. I can remember having to wear a mitten on my left hand to keep me from using it. My mother said she didn't want me to be "handicapped", so I learned to do things right handed.
I can do most things equally with either, but I prefer my left for everything except eating & writing.

My son's grandpa is-Back when he was young they forced you to use your right hand because the right handers thought it was not normal to be left-handed. My Dad always said you should put your right or left hand behind your back (The one you use most often) and force yourself to do things with the other hand and you can become ambidextrous with lots of practice. Good luck

I am right handed, but l do everything except write with my left hand, for example open bottles, paint walls, deal cards, l even eat with my fork in my right hand and my knife in the left. I just can't master writing with my left hand, l was just born that way. l find it easy if my right hand is tired doing something to swap over to my left.

LEFT-handed, here! I only use scissors in my right hand and to this day, don't know "why" that is!
My sister is ambi tho. I think it just came "natural" to her. She primarily writes with her right hand, but everything else she does with both.
But, I guess if I'm left-handed, then I'm in my right mind, as the saying goes! lol

I eat and write left handed.
I play sports and guitar right handed, I iron right handed. It seemed more natural.
I guess that comes from living in a predominitely right handed world...
how about you?
