Thanks for asking a question that I have been wondering about also. The main concern here is that people don't seem to be able to think for themselves. We have too much media imput and like Lemmings rushing off a cliff into the sea, we hear the "crap of the day" and believe it as the truth.
Bush is mostly attacked for his decision to act against the terrorist situation from 911. If he hadn't acted and we were fighting the Al-quadea on American soil(which we could be doing) then everyone would be bitchin because "Bush wasn't decisive enough and didn't respond quickly enough to the problem"
It's just like the Katrina thing, I am from the South, I live in one of the worst hit counties in MS. Our Gov. Haley Barbour acted decisively and immediately in response to the disaster. Louisiana's Mayor Nagin and Gov. Blanco kind of just stood there with their collective thumbs up their *** and whined. Now everyone blames Bush for the lack of help and immediate response. He personally wasn't the one responsible for the diasaster. But the good ole liberal news media once again pinned it on him.
The whining and the mud slinging won't stop until another President is elected, and the first time that President doesn't perform exactly as expected he'll be on the chopping block too.
Remember, now that Slick Willie is out of office everyone wants to sing his praises. I personally live in the predominantly Dem. South and literally couldn't find anyone who would admit to having voted for him, go figure!

The fact is the American people are lame and tired. That is why you allowed a stupid and dangerous person to take control of your country and instead of getting him out you vote him back in. We're not talking about your run of the mill useless politician who is no better than the rest. He's an ignorant, vile, pompous, little Hitler.
Can't wait to watch 'Death of a President' on More 4, October 9th.

Dan, I agree with you there. I disagree with much of the stuff he has done, but arguing the point here, does nothing. Whether you agree with him or not, people will always have different opinions, and no one is going to change their mind on one posting. I think the best thing to do in this case is to just not read the questions that involve that issue, though, if you don't want to deal with it any more. That goes the same for Gay marriage questons and religious ones as well

I agree. I think everyone knows he was a poor choice for President and has made numerous, catastrophic errors while in office. Certainly the American people are worse off now than they were. However, he's down, he's out (I hope) and it's time to stop beating the issue. I believe the fear is that if they let him off the hook for even one joke, one comment then someone somewhere will FORGET the tragedies he's had a hand in and will consider re-electing him.

Oh come on ! The man is an imbecile. If he put himself forward to be leader of the World's greatest power with the limited intelligence and ignorance that he has, then in my opinion he is fair game

Yeah it's easier to bash than talk about the issues. Social security? Iran? North Korea? Homeland security? What's the liberal plan on these issues?

To be unsatisfied with the president is a person's right. There are many that feel this way. If you are satisfied with him, so be it.

i do...people are always on his case, and he's just another president who's trying to do a good job of ruling this country in the middle of a war...one false step and people have him under a microscope, it's not fair...
