Yes you can, some shops will actually assist you with a fitting to ensure that you have the correct one. Now as for me once I usually am on the move while shopping and I usually decline the invite.

yes, most shops will have trained staff to help fit you properly. I think it's like 1 in 3 women doesn't wear the right size/style bra for her body! A professional fitting may seem akward but these are professionals and most of us need the help.
I would ONLY shop somewhere that does allow you to try on the bra first.

Here is something that you should NOT do. I once saw a young lady while standing in the middle of the womens department, she lifted up her shirt and tried a bra directly onto her bare breasts. She then proceeded to walk out of the store, with the bra still on! Well she got arrested for shoplifting.

Yes try it on. Brand to brand, style to style they fit differently.
Yes the shops allow it & most good shops have a "Fitter". 1 lady who will do your proper measurements so you get the right size. A large % of women are wearing the wrong size.

At VS I know you can, but I choose not to. I make sure I have the right size and everything before going in there, and make sure it's the right fit that I want. That's all. But you sure can try them on if you need to, if you don't just return them with receipt and tags and that's fine, too.

They let you try on bras at stores. But I hate trying clothes on especially bras because it's annoying.
