People never think that all murderers should get the dealth penalty and I just find these double standards confusing and illogical.

A previous question asked what is going through a sexual deviants mind when they molesting a child.
But nothing was mentioned about child killers.

Sexual crimes inspire more anger in the public than murder.

Because there is a witch hunt mentality when it comes to sex crimes these days, even if the "sex" offense isn't a heinous offense, such as teen age romancers, indecent exposure. The media overcovers the issue, because it is surefire ratings and circulation generator and politicians propose laws because they are surefire vote getters.
But the laws are being sloppily written and causing illogical and unintended consequences, such as many of the Jessica's Laws in many states.
I think genocide would get a lot of coverage if it existed on a local basis. However, most of the genocide was either a long time ago (Native Americans in the 17th-20th centures) or it's occurring in far off places such as Darfur. People figure it's not their problem even if the events are horrible.

Crime is crime.
A sex crime as far as I am concerned is no less horrible than Murder.
You rape a woman, and you are committing a horrid crime against the rest of society. Disrespect, and invasion of all of us.
You rape or commit a sex crime against a child you are attacking the future of the human race. those children become a blight upon society, even though they are the victims. some even become perpetrators themselves.
A hole, or pit should open in the earth, and swallow all of the murderers, the people who commit genocide, and the sex criminals, along with the leader of them all, namely Satan.
