So what. If he's gay, he's gay. Who cares?

According to Vh1 or E or whatever show my husband made me sit through yesterday afternoon, he is not gay. Whats the big deal, anyway? Women give other women friendly hugs and kisses frequently. In countries outside of the US platonic love or friendship is often expressed through kiss, with no underlying sexual tone. I find it sad that so much emphasis is put on the whole gay/straight aspect. Furthermore, kudos to John Travolta for not caring about what is socially acceptable. When was the last time society was right about anything?

I would have said the same as Peace Frog to the T. AND where you said "kudos to John Travolta for not caring about what is socially acceptable." That goes ESPECIALLY knowing that the paparazzi are all over his A**, and that the world would know about it 3 minutes after it happened.

Plus.... he's John Travolta.

So what, how does it affect you? do you feel inadequate? do you feel aroused? do you want a kiss on the lips from a man?
He's a person just like you and if he wants to kiss his friends on the lips and give him a long hug that's his choice and nobody Else's.
The papers are nosey arseholes for taking pictures of him any way and writing a stupid arsed story on him whether he's gay or not what's it got to do with us lot?

This is not a good clue as to what sexuality a person is. People do this for all sorts of reasons: maybe he was feeling touchy-feely that moment; maybe he likes PDA; maybe he wants to catch attention from the media; maybe he wants to get you guessing, like what you're doing now. More people nowadays are finding this display of affection to friends of same sex acceptable so more people are doing it.

Don't male friends kiss each other? Maybe not on the lips, but I saw the photo, and no, he's not gay.

I dunno about that picture...it certainly looks as if they are boyfriends. Yes, I believe that it is socially acceptable for a man to kiss a male friend. It is a personal choice and as long as that choice isn't bring harm to anyone else more power to ya!

Why women can kiss and men not. And if he is a gay he can easily admit it these days as it is a fashion.

YIKES... I kiss a few of my buds but it's on the cheek and always hug them. I don't think it makes him gay... BUT I think it makes him a tad strange!

Scientologists are freaks to begin with so...
