I love Christmas!!! But each year is getting more and more expensive. We buy all the family members gifts but each year the list keeps on getting longer. This year we have to buy 33 presents not counting our son's. I think a lot of people forgot the meaning of Christmas. I wish It was like it use to be. Togetherness enjoying the holiday's with loved ones. Now all everyone does is ask for what they want from us. But We still manege to get by!! My husband and I decorate the house with lot's of decorations. We put a Christmas tree in each of our rooms and put Christmas lights all over the house. Every corner of our home has a decoration. We just love it, I just wish everyone would too....

No, I am never ready for Christmas these days. People have blow it all out of proportion as to the true meaning of what Christmas is all about. Everybody has to buy everybody something and there always seems to be a $ issue there as to whom can spend the most, and worry about paying for it later (that is why at the beginning of the new year you find more and more people filling for B'ruptcy). This I know for a fact, I'm an ex-legal secretary. Christmas is about Our God and His being and children should only be the ones that benefit from the gifts (as Jesus was the one that was showered w/ gifts as a newborn child)!!! Hope my answer does not step on anyone's toes, everyone believes differently!

Yes. Already been to Harrods and got all the decorations (only got a couple dozen of the cheap baubles at £15 each) and ordered the swan for Christmas dinner, but I'm still waiting for the planning permission from the council to arrive before I can do much about all the street lights and decorations. I was going to do some like they have in Oxford Street, but they're a bit boring nowadays, so I'm waiting for the muse to come upon me.

I need to get a few more gifts. When the work is done on my house I will look at my decorations, probably throw out some of them, and get to decorating. That won't be until November though. Halloween First, my fave!!!
