Tennessee vs. California.
This is a good test for both teams coming right out of the box. California wants to re-establish themselves as a force in the PAC-10 and Fulmer is on the hot seat at Tennessee. Coming off of a dismal 5-6 record last year and a miriad of off-season troubles, Fulmer is feeling the heat. Because of this, there is more pressure on Tennessee to perform well. So I look for Tennessee to leave everything on the field. It should be a good game but I give the edge to Cal.

Southern Cal-Arkansas. Not a fan of either team, just wanna see if the Hogs can win a big non-conference game at home. Last year they were thoroughly annihalated in L.A., so you'd think they'd be out for some blood...

Cal/Tennessee. Unlike others who are dropping down to play Division I-AA flunkies today (everybody say hey to Texas A&M), these two aren't. Cal needs to show they're a legitimate title contender in the Pac Ten, while Tennessee needs to show that last year was a fluke.
