No.That's only if the woman is 35 and older or the man is i think 45 and older.I'm 33 and just had a baby 3 1/2 months ago and the father is 23 and my gyno said its a good thing hes younger its better odds for a normal baby.I was worried because of my age.Everything turned out perfect.

Age of the father has nothing to do with having an abnormal child. Health of the parents and history of genetics dictate the health and well being of the child.

I am 4 to 5 years younger than my wife - our daughter is perfect.
The majority of abnormalities in babies that I've heard of from people I know are due to a genetic fault in one of the parents, not from a difference in age.

That is crazy it doesnt matter who is younger. The only way something could be abmormal is genetic defect with in the DNA.
