i have taken out 3 different company pensions.In my working life and now i would like to put them in to one.

You probably want to speak to an independent financial adviser about this. Pensions are a lot more valuable than people think so it's worth taking seriously. £1000 of pension per year can be worth over £20,000.

You'll need to get the transfer value of each of the pensions from your previous jobs. So you or your adviser will get in touch with the pension scheme administrators and ask them to calculate this for you. Then you request this value to be transferred into whether you decide is best to put them. Perhaps buying extra service with your current employers pension scheme or into a personal pension pot.

I'd definitely recommend professional advise even if you have to pay a couple of hundred pounds for it.

What country are you in?
If you are in the US, contact the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. They insure US pensions (when the company buys the insurance, that is). They do work with a small number of Canadian plans but nothing from the UK or anywhere else.
