Would you think it's cool in a way, if your boyfriend told you what color lipstick and nail polish to wear when you were going to see him. Remember that means he notices you a lot! Honest answers only.

it would be cool if he said hey i really like ethat color nail polish and that lipstick really looks beautiful on you...if hes like wear this and that than its not cool. it depends how hes saying it

No. It means that the boy is too over controlling. If he told me nice nail polish or nice lipstick that's okay, but, if he told me which one to wear I would think he is pretty controlling. I am quite independent and I don't need someone's approval of what to wear when or how to where it. Also, most girls would not like to be told what to do. If you wanna be nice about it then go ahead!! More power to yah! Remember girls don't like bossy control freaks of a boyfriend!

it's not cool if they tell you to wear what colors of lipstick and polish. that's kinda controlling of them to tell you what to wear and possessive. It's different if they say they like the color and it looks good on you that would say he notices you. but don't ever let a man tell you what to wear.

If a man tried to control me right down to my makeup, he would have to go. A man who wants that much control has the potential of becoming an abuser. It starts with the little things, and then when you don't do what they want they begin to try to control physically. No it's not cool.

It would mean that he doesn't like you the way you are. The only thing I would find acceptable is if he suggested to me an outfit I should wear because it brings out my best features. Maybe try to tell him he should do his hair a certain way...see how he likes to be changed.

dont be bossy about it. you dont wanna scare her away.
i would be a little bit surprised. but i would kinda like it...that he cares enough about the way i look to notice what im wearing and make suggestions. even if its a horrible idea i would do it just for him.
its kinda cool i guess.
just stick it in somewhere in a conversation. like ask her about what brands she likes and what colors she likes. and then randomly bring up the idea that the _____ color would look great on her.
but believe me: you dont want her to think you're gay

I mean I don't think it's weird, but I mean he shouldn't have to tell me. You know what I mean? Like I think I could choose for myself, I don't need that much input, I'll wear what I want and like and make sure I knew that my boyfriend liked it too. I don't know.

I don't know. I would think either he was gay or just way too interested in my make-up. however many make-up artists are male (but gay) so maybe he had some good advice. would he want to go get a pedicure next?
