Some of the answers are quite funny really. You Americans don't know how to take a loss. Even before playing in the tournament, you go announce yourself as the best team in the world. But when you lose in the game, you just pretend as you don't care about it. You can go on saying that your team is the best, it may as well be, but you don't have the title officially. And that title is important. If you don't care about it why do you join international tournaments?

And further, this attitude shows why you lost. You don't respect international events. You don't even respect basketball. What you saw yesterday was a very good team who played better than you. Appreciate it and try to do better next time.

Oh well, on a final note, I'm not even Greek. I just loved the basketball the Greek team showed us yesterday.

i've always been wary of single elimination games since a more superior team can have an off night and lose....given the less accurate shooting percentages of the usa team their loss of only 6 points was an indication of their superior talent...they were outshot 62 to 50 percent and only sank 59% from the free throw line...i really think fiba should change the single elimination format for the semis and finals so fluke winners would be more far-fetched...best of three would make the americans probable winners in their recent losses in the international scene

Hello dear!
I think that USA still have the best team on Earth! They do not have all the luck though! They had to play with the extraterrestrial Greeks!

Individually, american players are the best in the world. hands down. As a team, is a different story. The greek team played well together to beat the americans...I can guarantee you it wont happen again.

You do realize we just sent out or rookies and let the old school players sit back and get ready for the season here. Because that's what matters, our Championship. The All Star games were more intersting than watching them play other countries. BOORRIIINNNNGGG

americans for the most part dont care about basketball anymore...but for the sake of argument, if we had the dream team out there with jordan, magic, and bird...you would have lost by 50 points

No I can't. I'm pissed off. I was like "when does Greece play basketball?, especially like that?!".

A big, sarcastic "thank you" for rubbing it in.

Congratulations.
