Best present I received was a photo album with pictures of all of my friends in. Personally never that excited by the key on a chain etc.. Liked the idea of a budget weekend away - you can always look for a travel lodge etc. in England and then just check out a new city!!

because even as someone is born that is a real miracle. no longer everybody may have little ones. So we've a good time the beginning of our youthful little ones and of ourselves. a baby contains on our lineage or contains on the relatives call. Having a baby is a present so we provide presents and have a good time with those we adore to celebrate births. of direction, each and every birthday brings us in the direction of lack of existence; yet it really is the cycle of existence. maximum do not imagine about the inevitable until eventually a lot in a while in existence and then it isn't as scary as what we believed after we were youthful.

Try and get her fave bands and journalists to send her a cards or message. Silver 21 key charm. 2i pounds coins stuck in a card or frame.21 lottery scratchcards. Check out cheap restaurants and take her for a meal...if you're booking, mention that it's your friend's 21st and they might put on a few extras...bottle of wine, balloons, etc. So difficult finding anyone gifts, especially 21st. Have a great time and wish your friend a happy life from me

well.. i don't know if it is a tradition everywhere (cuz all my friends dun seem to know about it!) but for malaysians.. they like getting people who are turning 21 a sliver key (symbolism for freedom) - people give silver housekeys but more common it is just a pretty pendant in the shape of a key. (hallmarks have 21st bday cards in shape of a key quite hard and made out of wood)
you can make a photo album of her when she's a baby till recent close to 21 photo.. in showing that she's all grown up and ready to spread her wings. :) little notes and keepsakes and it will be an awesome scrapbook for her from baby to grown up!
use your imagination! you can come up with something!

Some of the best gifts my husband has given me - a myth he wrote about me, a painting he made of my favorite childhood book (Who Are YOU?), and the time he went to my fav performer's concert with me and danced like he was having fun.

A photo album of good times you've had together. with captions - like cut out of funny mags like viz and newspapers.
A beautiful box of things they like - burn a disk of their favourite music, a magazine, sweets, makeup film tickets, bottle of wine, a card with a promised favour written in lovely writing. and so on.

Get her a good book, if you're on a budget you could get good secondhand books via amazon.
