Its the horemones. For me, it wasn't rage, it was uncontrollable, irrational fits of tears... a friend actually called 911 once because I couldn't stop and she was afraid I wasn't getting enough oxygen. I don't recall what happened... I passed out.

I was also terrible with impatience and bursts of rage when I was pregnant - so bad I used to back chat the boss and add some for good measure. Luckily my boss - being female - understood, but looking back I could've quite easily got the sack or at least no bonuses! There is nothing much you can do except the usual eat properly and gentle exercise where you perspire and get the heartbeat up will level your moods a bit. Always bear in mind that you are pregnant and that your hormones will be out of whack and greeting all sorts of extremes until a good year after the birth. Good luck!

I suppose you may be experiencing this because of raging hormones. Can you control it, though? I have never felt the need, voluntary nor involuntary to be a moody pregnant woman. I still know I have ultimate control over what comes out of me. This should be the happiest, most peaceful time of your life. It can be, remember it is a choice. Try eating more citrus products and drinking lots of water. Get out and get some fresh air by walking around.

It's very common. Your hormones are going through some massive changes right now along with your body in preparation for your baby. It's not unusual to experience mood swings such as you're having, whether it's rage or crying, chances are that you'll go through it all as you adjust to your pregnancy. Don't worry about it, just let people on the receiving end of your mood swings know that it's just hormones, and hopefully they won't take it personally. Best of luck.

Some women are much more sensitive to the mood swings in pregnancy. They are caused by hormonal changes. These women usually gain great benefit from speaking to a therapist to help control this until it passes. It is along the same lines as Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder. If it becomes severe, they may have some ideas for controlling it, that will not harm your baby. If you are scaring yourself, this may be very helpful for you and your relationship during the pregnancy. Good luck to you!

I too have irrational outbursts of rage! But then I am not pregnant and never have been. I don't know, but I have heard from my friends that they were exceptionally short-tempered especially with their spouses during pregnancy. Maybe it is normal and there is a natural reason for it. Don't worry about it, you can't help it!

It is perfectly normal. Your hormones have taken over. One day you might be filled with rage and the next you might sit and cry for hours. Nothing to worry about as long as you don't hurt yourself, the baby or anyone else. If it gets too out of control, you might want to talk to your doctor.

I can relate .... Had them the first half of my pregnancy! I've adjusted somewhat to the HORMONE craziness going on in my body ... but it is just another wonderful symptom of pregnancy. I hope it gets better for you cuz I know it can be frustrating. Just try to relax and not take yourself too seriously. Pamper yourself a little and try to enjoy this special time, you have a little precious life in there that cant wait to see your smiling face!
