I have just realised that I have been signing my name in a completely different way for ages. Thank God I am not signing any credit card receipts or cheques.
I haven't a clue why it happened other than I was very ill last Spring.
Any ideas how I can turn on my old signing reflex again?
I have tried but it doesn't look right because I am thinking about it.

When my signature became just a scrawl!!! my Bank wrote to me asking for a new copy of it "as your signature has matured!".What a nice way to put it I thought. So don't worry just send them a new copy saying you've been ill. Best regards for the future.

I shouldn't worry too much - if your signature looked the same all the time - then it would be suspicious!
There are 'signatures' in the way that we sign (if you will pardon the pun) and these are very noticeable.
Oh, and did you know that probably the majority of cheques aren't checked for the signature?
As long as you are using the same name you should be okay!

My signature changes all the time. My bank requested five signatures to check my signatures all the time. Next time, I was told, I should give them my finger print !

No, speak to your bank and let them know - then start afresh.
