i love that song but when i went on itunes, there were millions of singers and i don't know who sang the original version.... is it van halen?? the kinks??

The Great KINKS, they also sang Lola which is a great song, The Kinks are so underrated. you should download lola too because that song is awesome

Yes, it was indeed the Kinks in 1964 who originally wrote and recorded the song. It has been covered 42 times, yes i said 42 times...WOW!
