Without air we cannot breathe... so there would be no life on this planet if there was no air.....

Thank you for the question. The air is a mix of N, CO2, and O2, and H2O and it is our primary source of oxygen for breathing and primary source of CO2 for photosynthesis, allowing the life cycle between vegetals and animals.
But this is true only until some elevation above sea level, because above that elevation, things are completely different. There are turbulences and thunders, making difficult the flight of planes, but still this layer serves as mean of transportation of many people around the world.
And above this layer where the airplanes flow, there is a protective layer for asteroids, also allows the electromagnetic waves circulate with tv and radio signals.

air is the most important component on earth
it is oneof the panchmahabhute(five ancient elements)
it is used by us for breathing
plant also use it for same purpose
breeze(kind of air) keeps us cool during summers
if u really want to know the importance of air then go to moon!!!!!!!!

Planes cannot fly without air.

Co2 O2 etc.. which are required to sustain life on this planet....

try to hold ur breathe for as long as u can.....and guess.....why u were gasping for air once u starting breating.....well....we need air to live....air provides us with oxygen which is used to create energy....no oxygen=no energy...and we are dead.
