They're going to do 3 or 4 Futurama movies, and then start on a brand new season that will run on Comedy Central in 2008. As for the number of episodes I've heard 13, 16, and 26 so it's really anyone's guess.

False, adult swim already dispelled that rumor. The only way that could happen is if the Creator ends Simpson and focuses on that. There are comic books though.
