Sounds like a leak somewhere. Waterline? Roof leaking into wall ext. You shouldn't`t be getting mold like that without a leak.

I agree with another answer, you should not be getting mold like this without a leak somewhere.
Have a plumber check for a leak.
The other thing to help in your room is get a dehumidifier.
I would set it in a hot water heater pan to avoid spillage. You will be amazed at the amount of water it purges out of your room daily. You do have to empty the container daily or it will make a mess.
Or less expensive is to get a thing called RID (It comes in a cottage cheese shaped container). It's in the hardware section, or in the cleaning section at the grocery. It is a granular item (it looks like kitty litter) but once you open the bag and dump it into its own container it will absorb liquid from your room like crazy. It will be a lot less expensive than the other solution. I would get 2 or three for your room. The liquid will have to be dumped every day or two and the granules replaced as they disintegrate. If I remember correctly you can buy bags of refills.
Hopefully one of these Ideas will help.
After rereading your question and your info about your closet , does your closet back up to a bathroom or the kitchen wet area???? That could be a clue to a solution.

I used to have bad allergies, and could not sleep well at night. 10 tissues min. per night blowing my nose.
An EcoQuest Air Purifier helped me dramatically. It doesn't filter the air, but uses NASA Space Certified Technology to put purifying agents in the air.
You leave it on 24 hours a day, and it prevents new mold for growing by continually oxidizing it.
You can use the machine to sanitize your bedding, your bedroom, as well as your clothes closet. Keep it running in your room until the problem is solved, and then move it out to a central place in your house, to make a positive effect on your whole living space.

Do not take long hot showers this will cause a big mold problem in your bathroom, also you may want to get a mold testing kit at Home Depot to see if you have a mold problem first.

Reduce the humidity in your room. And clean it from top to bottom with bleach. Even then some types of mold can only be gotten rid of by gutting the room out.

The only "cheap" way is to use clorox to clean. The best way is to invest in a dehumidifier in the attic. My brother lives in Mom's 80 year old house and his wife suffers from allergies. They finally broke down and invested 4500.00 for a 5000 sq. ft. house in a dehumidifier. There has been no mold and no allergy problems again. Good luck................

Buy a de-humidifier. Some buildings trap moisture and if keeping a window cracked at all times isn't an option, a dehumidifier should work. There are also bags of moisture trapping material you can hang in your closet (don't know what they are called) or basement. Good luck (I am fighting the same battle).
