Name a song with an instrument that nomally doesn't belong in that genre. (i.e. a steel guitar in a rock piece, a banjo in a hiphop song, etc.)

I have to say, i frankly like the sound that comes from the mixin of unusual musical instruments, like the violin or piano in a rock song...it makes it a different kind of rock, but still rock nonetheless. So..i cant really think of a combination of instruments i wouldnt like to be honest with you lol. But its an interesting question. :))

Slash from GNR played guitar with some rap artist a few years back. I forgot what the song title was though. Just remember it totally sucked.

The song "Pinned to the Willow" by Age of Faith has a really nice French Horn solo--odd for a metal band, but it works

The AC/DC one was the other one I was going to mention, but was beaten to it.

P. Diddy ruining the Led Zepplin song "Kasmir" on SNL a few years ago....I like rap and I like Led Zepplin--but not together--especially the way P. Diddy butchered it!!! GAG!
