you decided to hurry home because you are so hungry only to find out that there's no cooked food because people inside the house thought you ate at some restaurant already...

does that piss you off so much?

yeah!if that would happen to me,i would really be mad!why?because those people inside should not conclude so fast that I already ate without any basis or information about what or how am I doing at a particular time because just like what happened to you, you're so hungry and you hurried just to go home and eat but when you got home, there's nothing to eat because they thought you've already eaten!!!even if you had eaten already, they should still prepare some food because you might not be satisfied with what you've eaten!!!just thinking of it pisses me off!!!

Well, I don't think that they intentionally did this. As you said they thought you ate already. Clearly there is some sort of communication break down whether it be on your part or theirs isn't the issue. The issue is that it exists. Are you telling people that you won't be home for supper when you do go to the restaurant, or do you just go and tell them later? For some reason they have gotten the idea that if you don't come home at a certain time that you have gone out to eat. So instead of getting pissed off. Sit down and talk about your feelings.Don't come about with an accusatory tone, just say. When you did this I felt blank. And be open to them having complaints too. Then try to find a way to solve them by saying next time I'll do blank could you please do blank? This conversation can only take place once you both have cooled down. Do not attempt it while you are still angry. Another thing to have in mind. People sometimes do things to us unintentionally and don't mean to purposely exclude us. Have that in mind when addressing issues as well.

No it's doesn't piss me off however, I make it a short visit and politely leave early enough to get some food before going home. Next time them ask me to come back I ask them if it's for dinner before going.

I really pisses them off when there is also nothing to cook, so they have to call me back to pick them up in the taxi and go get something. I see this happen frequently.

Oh no. It takes a lot more than that to piss me off. Like a hangnail, maybe.

Since when are you King of the Universe? Make yourself something to eat!

I would just cook myself some food ... being angry at the others doesn't solve my hunger.

If I didn't want others to eat what I cooked, I would just cook enough for me.

I don't think that this is a big problem or even a problem. Also they really might have thought so may be because u were late and I think that u like food so it's normal that they would think so.

first off it sounds like you might need to learn how to cook. Be self reliant - it will make you a better person. Also you should have called to let someone know your intentions.

I would cook myself something, I'm more than old enough and mature enough to look after myself.
