For a home pregnancy test, it will tell you about a week before your missed period. A blood test can tell within 24 hours.

You must wait more than hours to take a pregnancy test!!!! It must be around two weeks from conception in order to test positive on a urine test.

hi. it just depends on when you think you concieved. Its best to wait until you miss your period and then take one. BUT i did my pregnancy test a week before i missed my period and it was positive! -i had a boy!. Its also best to do the test first thing in the morning when your urine is stronger and not as diluted. Good Luck!
