Today was The Day when i finally dragged the maternity clothes out. (im 4 months along) Its kinda nice to see them again My mom and i had lots of time to thrift shop for clothes in my last pregnancy, so i found a lot of pea in the pod and maternite clothes as low prices. they are nicer than a lot of my not pregnant clothes. the thing is im not really showing that much, i just dont fit in my size ones anymore. does anyone else feel weird going out in pregnant lady clothes with a barely pregnant belly.

i really wish i could go to old navy or even walmart but i live in japan for while so im stuck with a very limited resourse. unfortunately japanese women doent usually wear cute maternity clothes and when they really get big you dont see them its like they are hiding. in almost a year ive only seen a handful of pregnant japanese women who looked more than 5 months or so.

Pssst, hate to tell you this, but no body likes to wear maternity clothes. Being a size 1 is like way better.

This is my first time being pregnant, but some friends told me to look for clothes at "Old Navy". Their clothes are hip and they are really comfortable. I am only 2 1/2 months and I'm only showing a little, but my jeans were getting tight and they were hurting me. So my husband and I went to old navy and actually the pants I got dont even really look like maternity pants. They sit low on my hips and have strechy material all the way around the top 2-3 inches. I haven't bought any maternity tops yet because my regular tops still obviously fit just fine. You can see my little belly, but at least my clothes are hip and they dont look like maternity clothes.

hi! Yeah i guess you do kinda feel abit wierd at first when your not showing that much and people dont know if you are pregnant or just putting on weight yet. haha. i swore that i was just going to keep on buying bigger sizes in the clothes i usually wore, but i ended up with a few maternity tops aswell! I found these awesome pants though they are black stretchy kind of material and the brand is called FACEOFF. Im not sure if you have them where you might be from, -im from australia. But they were the most comfy pants that id ever worn. very good for the growing belly! they are hipster pants but you dont even feel like your wearing any! they were great. Only cost me $20 australian.

I wasn't showing when I started to wear maternity clothes! I was just so proud that I was going to be a mommy that I want to show it. Even if you only show a little they make it show more. Where as your regular clothes don't! Now I wish I had just bought stuff bigger! I can hardly fit in the clothes I bought in the beginning of my pregnancy! But I only have a week or so to go so then I'll probably be running around in sweats!

Yes, It made me feel like I bought my clothes at the tent supply place. I couldn't get into my regular clothes but maternity clothes were too big, so instead I went and got larger sizes of regular clothes. I never bought another maternity piece after that. It made me feel more comfortable.

no lots of woman are so proud they put on the big clothes before they need them, it is important to be comfortable I sure you will be OK once you put on your first outfit,it good you went the thrift way ,using your funds wisely, spend it on important but check the thrift store for baby items maybe get a new outfit to bring that baby home but the thrift store is excellent to get baby clothes , after all babies don't wear there clothes out. good luck and take real good care
