We got engaged 3 months ago and we signed the marriage contract to make the process of getting my visa to the US faster. But we broke up a month ago and he promised me to send a paper to empower his uncle here so as to break the contract officially with me. That paper hasn’t come yet. I heard it wouldn’t take this long time to be done, and when I ask his uncle about it he answered it is coming! I don’t want to talk to my ex fiancé as I don’t want to hear his voice or even to see his name on my screen. He hurt me much. I still can’t understand why he hasn’t sent that paper till now.

We signed the contract here while he was spending his summer vacation in my country.

So you got married to get a Visa faster?And now that you have the Visa he won't sign the divorce papers fast enough?Man he is a jerk,how did he hurt you?Marriage in my mind is sacred and should not be used to gain entrance into a country or to cover up a problem.The divorce rate in this country is so high because people don't take marriage serious and bail when life gets a little tough.Now that you are in the US what are your plans?And why do you need to be divorced so fast,if you were truly in love give it time and try to work it out. How did he hurt you,emotionally or physically?

may be he wants to delay the process by hanging you around. wasting time...
