No, first you have to earn then your social objectives kick in.
Yet, you have to give what you want to get, so give the money if want to make more money.

They should be in harmony.

A great example is Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream, do some research and read about the founders and how they alloowed non-profits to open franchises that generate revenue that the non-profit can use for their social purposes.

I don't believe businesses have social objectives. That is for governments. The objectives of businesses are to provide goods and services, then do it profitably.
