what is a quebec-ois? aren't we all...we live here..we just don't exist...it used to be the "local de souche" used to be called pure quebec-ois...now even strangers use the term.
not nice. to answer your question -- what is a skilled immigrant -- if he/she comes from india or sira lanka with a doctor's degree...they have to pass the medical exams again..voila..if he/she comes from U.K. or U.S.A. then go to the banks..it is wasp territory...they will give him/her a job as long as she/he has the real english accent. hope it helps...
