I say basketball sucks hockey RULES!!!
but basketball is faster pace because hockey is such a great sport and there is penalty's so they have to stop the game alot

Basketball? That's like watching paint dry. That's why the sport is dying, here in the U.S. at least.
If by "fastest" you mean "has things that move the fastest in it", I think that the Reno Air Races have to be in the running.

I played basketball in highschool and college. No way can someone "run" as fast as a hockey player "skates." That puck moves at speeds in excess of 90 mph ... nobody can "throw" a soft round ball that quickly nor that hard .... and yes I said "soft" ... compared to a hard, frozen puck a basketball is "soft"

hockey is 10 times faster then basketball, have you actualy watched any of this games.
and to the guy that said Nascar its not a sport. you have a machine doing most of the work for you.
