First of all racial discrimination will never be eliminated. Nothing we can do will make it go away. Some whites don't like blacks and many blacks don't like whites. If people would just be people and accept others as they are would go a long way to making it all better. But whiteracists are afraid of black people and many black people use the race issue to gain an advantage over whites. Leads to a lot of mistrust on both sides. My personal take on racism is that blacks cause a lot of the problems because they insist on "being black" instead of just being people. I don't insist on "being white". I watched a BET show that had a black ventriloquist on it with a white dummy he called "Mr. Honkey". Black people roared at the racist jokes this guy made. If that had been a white guy with a black dummy called "Mr. Ni**er" and in front of a white audience most whites would walk out. If people of all colors would just be people it would be better. Nobody has to give up their culture....but nobody should flaunt it either.

This is a tuff question to answer. Racial differences , although only skin and religion deep, is not easy to get rid off. Some people maintain that racial differences, were created on purpose to divide human beings up. so that all strife and hatred leads to war, and war being a very profitable business, racial hatred eventually means a lot of profits for the vested interests.
First, you need to get rid of all religious differences. Next, would be the pigment differences.

What ever they are doing to these people to discriminate against them, a big bad person should get them and put them in the same situation. Of course, let the one that is being discriminated against, treat them the same way, that they treated them. That would stop it, you think? If it was back in the 40's, 50's , 60's, let the ones doing the bad stuff, go sit in the back of the bus, let them only be allowed to sit in the balcony way up there where you can't see the show, and go in a sep. entrance. Let them only drink in a certain water fountain, kick their little behinds out of the restaurants, have their own restrooms, like they are subhuman. I cannot tell you the horrors of earlier times, slavery, etc. No, I am not who you think I am, I am a product of seeing this for myself as a child in Texas, for myself. I am ashamed of who looked at other people as subhumans, and treated other humans as animals. This is called the "dark ages" of humanity, including the Nazi's and others that took it on themselves to be God and take others lives in the most inhuman way. If you do not think there is a devil that walks the earth, you are mistaken. Hey, if you were an alien, would you stop here?I would just fly by too. I really think that we have come a long way, however, it is just going to take longer.

First, we need to understand that the preference for kin is deeply rooted in our genes. People discriminate in favor of their blood relatives, and then in favor of people who resemble their blood relatives because our genes dictate that we do so. We may be able to change behavior, but the basic preference for one's "kind" and prejudice against others is not going to go away, probably ever.
Second, we liberals have a lot to answer for here. "Identity politics" dominates groups that are otherwise liberal. That "identity politics" stance insists that race and gender (and perhaps sexual orientation and maybe one or two other factors) are the only things that count, and on top of that, insists that it's fine to discriminate against people on those bases, as long as the people you choose to discriminate against are white and male (and preferably straight).
I know that sounds like a right-wing rant, and I wish it were. I think that the right is wrong about just about everything, but they've gotten it right on that count: identity politics means discrimination against white males, and in fact the identity politics folks don't even make much attempt to hide that fact anymore. That means that racial discrimination, as a problem, moves WAY down the list of things that progressive white males concern themselves about - why should I work on a problem when my choice of people to work with is right-wingers who don't care about the problem and liberals who want to make the problem worse?
Finally, liberals also need to recognize how silly it is for well-meaning people to beat themselves up about racial discrimination in a world that is still so obviously full of blatant right-wing racists. Sure, there's some subtle discrimination in me, but if we got rid of all of the subtle discrimination in the world, the victims of discrimination would still suffer almost exactly as much, because as you can see right here on YA, the world is still full of people who loudly and clearly show racial hatred.

make black people stop being racially violent towards whites. I believe that whites walk on egg shells why blacks can turn anything into a racial discrimination issue all the while being more discriminatory themselves. This doesn't apply to all blacks nor does the racial thing apply to all whites. I'm white and am not prejudice and I know many black people, many of whom are friends, that are the not prejudice either.
