We're told racism is wrong because it means discrimanting against people but then in turn arent people who don't like racists actually discriminating against racists, making them racismists?

When you make discrimination based on the color of the skin, it is like making discrimination based on the color of the eyes. When you make the discrimination based on approval of racism, it is like making the discrimination based on approval of war. See the difference?
It is one thing to judge or to make discrimination on someone based on any characteristic that doesn't harm anybody in any way. And it is a completely different thing to judge and make discrimination based on somebody's attitudes and acts that could harm somebody. The first one is wrong and stupid, the other one is normal and right.
It is not only the matter of sense and no-sense (as there is no sense in judging people based on their race or ethnic group), but it is also the matter of destructiveness (or non-destructiveness) and responsibility (as everyone should be responsible for his or her own conduct). That is why some things shouldn't be discriminated while others shouldn't be undiscriminated. It is even necessary to act this way. Otherwise, what do you think would happen to this world if we would be "neutral" to all threatening doctrines?

Racists should be discriminated against. They are spreading an unintelligent illogical doctrine of hate based on nothing more that the differences between people. They are just plain wrong. Nothing else. End of story. Full stop.

As with all things there is a balance to be found.
We all live in societies with rules. Any rule imposed on someone is a restriction of their free will. There are laws against murder, this impinges on the free will of the murderous, There are laws against theft, this impinges on the free-will of the thief to take the property of another. I would rather sacrifice some of my free will than live in anarchy. not that I really have much choice in the matter.

You are complicating the question. Everyone has racist tendencies. We all don't 100% like every nation and creed. So you can say we are all racists. Its just some shout about it others get on with life.

According to the P.C. crowd we should accept every lifestyle and point of view as valid, therefore racism and racists can be seen as a cultural sub-group and should be respected !!

No,
this is silly question.

The affirmation of equality, and the sense of repugnation of those opposed to it are diffrent.
