I can only speak for myself. A couple of wks ago my b/f suddenly started acting 'out of character'. It was obvious something was on his mind & bothering him pretty bad. Well I noticed right away & since I love him, I wanted to help him through whatever it was. Well, he didn't want to talk about it & the more I tried the more he pulled away. So since he wouldn't tell me, I started guessing things that could be wrong. In other words accusing him of the things I thought could have happened to make him be so distracted. I got 2 the point that I was SO determined to find out what was wrong I went over & beyond w/ accusations. And I have been completely honest & faithful to him. So I have no guilty conscience. Whatever he had to work through on his own was eating at me & instead of trusting him like always before, I let my guard down b/c I was terrified that my worst fears were coming true...I was wrong & feel bad b/c I should've never distrusted him for a second!

No it doesn't mean that at all. Insecurity might be a better word.
