Most of the fungal infections are not sexually transmitted. But in some cases (it depends on the causative organism) it is transferable.
If you suspect you are having a fungal infection take Fluconazole (Diflucan)150mg. You can also use medicated soap (contains Ketaconazole) to wash the infected area. Topical use of Clotrimazole is also helpful.
Try to keep the area dry.
