I had cntractions that started 4 days before m son was born. Theystopped for a few hours then started again 3 times, but on that time they continued until he was born. What you are having sound like Braxton Hicks

same thing happened to me with my second one and i ended up in labor what a day. i was so mad at the Dr.we live two hours away from the nearest place to have a baby and they kept telling me that i wasn't having them and try ed to send me home. so we want to the store and i was having them so bad we want back about after maybe an hour and i had the baby about an hour later. so if you feel that you need to go in then go.

hi. yes labor pains can start and stop. but it usually means its not far off! if it feels like bad period pain acheing then its not labour pains but its your body getting ready, if you start vomiting then its definate labour!! so look out for that. u will know though they are alot worse
Good Luck!! hope everythign goes well!
