Yes, its normal. Women have been known to carry for 9 months and not even notice. You will soon be wishing the bump was small towards the end of the pregnancy. If there was anything wrong you would already know about it. And once you see the scan you will be well happy. When i went for my first scan with my wife, they said something along the lines off... ''i am just going to see if there is more than one'' The thought had never even crossed my mind. Just something else to think about. Good luck. And remember that gel they put on your tummy is cold.

Don't worry hun, it is normal ..every woman is different . As you're quite slim, it will probably take a while for your " bump" to show, a friend of mine was 8 months pregnant and had a bump that could have been mistaken for 3-4 months pregnant ! Needless to say that when baby did come along, it weight a healthy 7 pounds and everything was fine.
Your midwife will reassure you on Tuesday , but please don't worry .The size of your bump doesn't mean anything, I was HUGE when I was pregnant, I was taller lying down than standing up...but my second baby only weight 5.4 pounds, so you see...size of bump means nothing ,
Hope that helps, take care .

Gurl I wear a size 0 and 105 lbs when I was pregnant with my son at 6 months I only went up to a size 1 and gained 8 lbs. you'll gain majority of da weight and belly will grow alot more in the last 2 months, atleast mine did. I looked like I swallowed a basketball lol. I gained 21 lbs and went upto a size 7 total and 11days after my son was born I lost all the weight and back to my normal size.

Absolutely normal - we're all different and you may find you don't have much of a bump...then again you will probably wake up one day and think 'where the heck did that come from' and you will be able to walk around with your baby belly sticking out and be proud.
Your scan will go fine and it'll be nice to get a new picture. Good luck with it all.

You're ok. I didn't show with my second one until close to 7 months. She was a small baby. Came out 6 pds. You'd know if something was wrong I'd think. I used to panick if I didn't feel them kicking me for a day or so. Good luck with everything.

Diane, you are perfectly normal. I laughed when I read your cute question. Have a great experience with your pregnancy, and eat healthy, the baby will take what it needs from your body, so listen to your body if it tells you it needs something. That's what they call 'cravings' Good luck, Ron

Heck no!!! i would not say something. i would not take the prospect on dropping the job based on the reality i became pregnant, you will want that funds for after the toddler's born! you do no longer legally might desire to tell them, so why hassle. they at the instant are not meant to discriminate, yet regrettably do. you have till Dec to tell them, wait till you get employed and start up off working and wait a pair weeks as quickly as your executed with training and probation era, THEN tell them. i'm specific they do no longer want 4 months observe for scheduling. that's in contrast to you will possibly in basic terms want the day off, you will possibly have a scientific excuse so as that they might have no decision yet to offer it to you. in the event that they ask you approximately being pregnant, act indignant and lead them to experience stupid for asking, you will fairly get the job then.
