My ZX2 came without AC. I have been calling around trying to find out hom much it will cost to add an ac system, Ford told me they would look into it and call me back in a hour, they never called back. If you have any idea what installing an ac would cost it would be greatly apr.

Don't know what area you live in, but Ford probably won't be the least expensive way to go. They usually sell the cars with factory A/C, and for at least the last 20 or so years, even if THEY want to add A/C, they will usually sub-contract to a specialization company.
The A/C systems today look and function just like factory, and to make this happen, it takes specialty tools, equipment and personnel.
Ford's personnel are top-notch to be sure, but they are trained to do that which there is the most call. They won't invest to train a man to do something he isn't going to do much, because there won't be enough profit in it for the dealer.
Look in the phone book yellow pages under AUTOMOTIVE > Air Conditioning > Installation/Repair.

I am not positive on a ford,but a thonda parts and labor were approximatly 1200.00. depends on demand also. a good way is to simply call your dealership and ask????? get it to the penny that way,cost you nothin but time.:)
