there are two ways.....
first way is two put the woman under gen anaesthetic and they remove from inside her
second way is they give hormone tablets prior to inserting a suppository like thing into the womb to start contractions. this way you are awake and you remove yourself.
both ways are unpleasant!

Up to 18 weeks preference is medical termination. Tablet two days before procedure. Then a day in hospital, staff insert 4 tablets to open up the cervix and then oral tablets every 3 - 4 hours until the staff have visually identified the products of conception are passed and complete.

In the first twelve weeks, suction-aspiration or vacuum abortion is the most common method. [11] Manual vacuum aspiration, or MVA abortion, consists of removing the fetus or embryo by suction using a manual syringe, while the Electric vacuum aspiration or EVA abortion method uses an electric pump. These techniques are comparable, differing in the mechanism used to apply suction, how early in pregnancy they can be used, and whether cervical dilation is necessary. MVA, also known as "mini-suction" and "menstrual extraction," can be used in very early pregnancy, and doesn't require cervical dilation. Surgical techniques are sometimes referred to as STOP: 'Suction (or surgical) Termination of Pregnancy'. From the fifteenth week up until around the twenty-sixth week, a surgical dilation and evacuation (D & E) is used. D & E consists of opening the cervix of the uterus and emptying it using surgical instruments and suction.

I've watched the video of abortion in my 1st semester of my foundation to enter med school. i really think you should know about the process because it shows how inhuman we are. when the fetus reach 3 months old, mostly it'll have heartbeat and it is considered as living human being. abortion can still be done. but it is the same as killing your own family. imagine...killing one of your family member...for example your little bro. the method: using a knife or anything to tear his limbs. the body is then shredded to tiny 'molecules' and being suck in by a very powerful sucker. then, using a hammer, you crush his little head to pieces so it can be suck by the sucker. this is the facts about abortion. you just don't feel guilty because there's someone else do the dirty work for you. you just have to pay them and continue with you happy life. of course the method depends on how long you have been pregnant-ed. this is the truth about the so called civilized homo sapiens.
i'm sorry if this causes offence or nythin'...but ignorance is not the best answer.

alIt's not very nice, and this should really be in a closed catchment but basically they (The surgeon) inserts a long hook type instrument and tears the featus apart. the sections of the body are then removed individually. Lastly, the head is then crushed with another instrument 'If the neck of the womb is not dilated)and the fragments are removed from the womb. I am of the opinion that the featus feels most of the initial pain.

it depends on how far gone the pregnancy is. if it is early days it is done by suction just like a D&C.....further on it becomes more unpleasant and the mother is given intravenous drugs to induce labour and i'm afaid the baby has to be born by natural methods.

to the two guys who are talking about them tearing the baby into little pieces....since we don't live in the 3rd world, they don't do that anymore.....I think you're just trying to suck people into your little closed-minded world
