Well... you gotta get the right part of the wave at the right time. Once your ready to catch the wave use ur feet to paddle u and start with having the front of the board down a lil bit... if u go to far, u will tumble over urself and eat it. but having it down in the beginning get's u going.. then lift up the front a lil bit to keep riding the wave. Just takes practice.. and it's easier to do when u got some fins on. Good luck bro!

A "boogie board" is not a surf board. It is for the body, so it should be pretty easy. We lived at one time next to the ocean and went often. We bought boogie boards right away as soon as we came to California a long time ago. You just have to catch a wave and ride it on in. You just jump on it when you see the wave coming at you, and wait until it is almost to you, and jump on the boogie board. You have to make sure you are not too close to the shore, or it will slam you down into the sand. You want to just ride the wave on in, then jump off, and do it again. I think as I remember, the best time, is when the tide comes in. In Hunt. Beach, it was later in the day, but I know surfers are out early. You have to pay attention to the waves, and if it is a day good for that. The waves always come in, and don't have to be as big as surfers need. It is fun, and just practice. Good luck.

Well, first wear a good set of flippers for directional and for quick wave jump. Then once in the draft of the wave cut 45 degrees in the direction of the leading edge trend line. That should bring you to shore.

I don't know what your having problems with, but keep your hands holding on the front of the board, while your body is laying on the rest of it. Simple enough? Are you asking to learn a trick or something?

Try surfing, its a lot more fun....for me at least.
