i m having light red discharge and pain of menses. is this a sign of pregnancy or i will be having my regular periods?

Better consult a gynae, rather than discussing the thing here, & before than its too late. May be yr only cycle delay, or may be some bleeding(internal). Only a gynae can sort out the prob, by observation & examination.

I waited til I was 10 days late to take a pregnancy test because I was having all the symptoms of starting my period soon. Just kept waiting to start... and never did. My daughter is 18 months old now, lol. If you are late, take a test, its best for both of you to know ASAP. Its especially important to get enough folic acid early in pregnancy.

All I can say to you is wait to see what this bleeding turns into. If it continues as a light discharge, get a test and/or see a doctor. If it turns into your period, well there's your answer.

I would do a pregnancy test as I had an uncomfortable stomach each time when my period was first overdue when I was pregnant. So you could very well be pregnant.
