Srisailam - Temple of Lord Shiva - This temple is supported by Saraswati River as per Hindu Scriptures. Temple compound is around nineteen and half acres. If u dig six feet any where in the temple compoind u will find water, but outside temple compound u can't find water except from the river flowing down the valley. Have a visit to Mahanandi also, about 150 kms from Srisailam. U have a water pond there - where u can't find the source from where water is coming but it will be just flowing - any time of the year u find water coming out of the pond at the same rate. Apart from the above visit Tripurantakam, Alampuram, Uma Maheswaram and Siddhavatam - near srisailam

When u go to Delhi to see the Tajmahal u go to Rishikesh .(It is near Delhi and the himalayan mountain and river Ganga r lovely.U will never forget the place. After that go to Jaipur and see the palace and the colourful city.Then come southIndia and visit Mahabalipuram .At kanyakumari u can see the Vivekananda rock,100ft Thiruvalluar statue.( It is a coastal area.)Kerala is also beatiful, U can stay on a boat house enjoy the scenaries.We call the place as God"s own country. tho i am an indian i havent been to every nook and corner yet but some of the places i have visited and would recommend you would be Leh in Ladakh which is in the north west, sikkim and darjeeling in the north,rajasthan, jaipur, udaipur. when u go to see the taj mahal in agra do not miss the fatehpur sikri....it's beautiful!

got to see the gate to India. anyway go to some tour maps of India they will give you some ideas of the tourist type sites. but the best way to see India is just go and tour around yrself get the real feel and not just the guided tours.
