that is abbreviated from PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION. thats when a tech puts in the floormats,liscense inserts,wheel locks, and any dealer add-ons that will be included in the addended sticker price of vehicle.

In Diesel Technology PDI means: P for "Pumpe-Düse" (Pump Dosage Unit), DI for Direct Injection.
