Shahid Afridi of Pakistan holds the record for the fastest century in one day cricket.
He smashed a breathtaking 102 off 37 balls against Sri Lanka at Nairobi in 1996/97.
It was only the second match of his career. He struck an amazing 17 boundaries in that innings. And 11 of the 17 boundaries were sixers.
In the process he also became the youngest centurion at the age of 16 years and 217 days.
