Try to wacth the waiter at the end of the meal, when he pretends to bring the bill just say to your friends'' oh i need to go to rest room''than return to the table after a time that you are sure some one pays the tip and bye this method they can even pay all the bill. Now go and pray for me.

oh dear oh dear oh dear..I'm so glad im not your friend!!! god id hate to be at that dinner with everyone arguing over a calculator at the end. for goodness sake if you really are going to split the bill which is so taky anyway lets say the bil is for $$????oh you should have said how many people ok lets assume here for a minute. lets say there are 10 of you and the bill is $600.. here in europe we leave 10% minumum which Sherlock is another $60,,so devide $660 by 10 and there you have it $66 each..isnt that easy. But its YOUR birthday and if they really are friends they should be paying for you.Your argument will be that everyone had something different so the amounts would be different....who cares just enjoy a good night out and split the bill equally but do tell them before the meal how it will be split. anyone complains dump them from the party.

That is not a proper bday celebration...
Did you send out "invitations" with precise wording saying
"Dutch treat birthday celebration"?
If not, take enough money to cover the bill, some may not be prepared and not have enough money to pay their share.

You'd be better off just having a cake and some fun snacks at home... It would seem less "stingy" than having your guests pay for their own dinner at "your" party!

in case you have sent the invites already and mentioned not something approximately charge, then you definitely could be predicted to pay. you are the host, and the host supplies nutrition and drink no count if it fairly is at a eating place or on your place. in case you needed it to be Dutch cope with, then you definitely might desire to have mentioned so interior the invitation. Even then one might desire to be careful. Will the eating place be prepared to do separate exams. And in case you all in simple terms toss money into the pot then you definitely can just about constantly matter on somebody to not placed sufficient or to forget approximately taxes/tip altogether. in case you do not prefer to undergo the entire price, then a Pot good fortune Dinner at your place is fairly the extra suited thank you to bypass.

In polite society, the person paying the bill, i.e. you GUESTS, would leave the tip but your should offer. If you offer and they take you up on on it, then pay the damn tip. Cheapass. Man, some people....
