what's 'the tombstone of life and death' in the sims 2??

Question

someone told me to get preganant with an alien i have to go on the tombstone of life and death and click on 'get alien preganant' but i have no idea where the tomstone of life and death is! is it the tombstone that appears when someone died???

oh but if it's a cheat.... i really don't want to do it! because a friend of mine already tried a cheat code to get richer: (rosebud ; ; ; ; ; ......) and it screwed up her game (her sims can't communicate with anyone!!) so i'd rather not get into any of that! but thanks anyway for all your answers! 10 points are coming right at cha amg503... i'll just make an alien the hard way: stargaze with the telescope until the aliens come down and get a sims girl pregnant!! (that's what i have to do...... right???) oh and if you could help me on this thing too (you seem to be a sims 2 expert...) : how come i can't save or quit the game ever since the social worker dropped by to take the children away?? and are the children gone forever or will their parents see tham soon??? i suck at this game!!!

The tombstone of life and death is an object in The Sims 2 which can affect most aspects of your game, including what you mentioned above.

To get it, you have to enter the "boolprop" cheat (it's a testing cheat Maxis created while they were building TS2). Now, after you activate this cheat, you can really screw up your game, if you don't know what you're doing. But you can also change a bunch of things, which makes it more exciting.

Hit Control+Shift+C while on the neighborhood screen. Then type in (no quotations) "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" just like that, don't add extra spaces or anything.

Enter a house. To get the Tombstone, Shift+Click on a sim (you'll always have to use Shift to acces the "boolprop" menu) and click "Spawn...". Select the Tombstone of Life and Death. You WON'T need to Shift+Click on the Tombstone, though. Everything there, for the most part, is safe, so feel free to experiment. If you don't like something you've done, just don't save the house.

One thing to remember: STAY AWAY to anything that says "Force Error". This is VERY BAD and you should be cautious of it at all times. Also, if you ever get an error dialog box, with the options to "Reset, Delete, etc...Always hit the MIDDLE BUTTON (I believe it's reset, but I haven't played in a while.)

There are also several things in the Shift+Click on a Sim menu which are worth looking at. Two things here: DON'T add the "RC Car" to the family, and DON'T click on "Force Error".

you have to open the cheat menu and type in 'boolprop testingcheatsenabled true', but boolprop cheats have a serious risk of causing all kinds of annoying glitches in your game. if you want an alien, you can go to strangetown and there is already an alien family living there that you can play :)

but if you want your sim to get abducted, you just have to make sure your sim is constantly using the telescope (you have to use the expensive one) from around 7pm- early the next morning (in sim time, of course =]). but make sure it's a GUY! the girls dont get pregnant when they get abducted!! the only time one of my sims ever got abducted it was a girl so i didnt get an alien baby =[ anyway, good luck! =]

and also, reguarding the question you just asked in your details, just wait a little while longer, you'll be able to save and quit (and go into buy mode and everything like that) after the social worker takes your child away. ( after all major events like that, including fires, burglaries, and i think birth as well, the save/quit/buy mode all get unclickable until the event is over) ...but after the children get taken away i dont think they come back.. you could always quit without saving and take better care of the child when you reload it =]
