Ok, so a bunch of people have told me I look like her, except with a more oval face. (And yes, I am also of mixed descent.)
I personally found it semi-insulting, yet my boyfriend says she's attractive....

You seriously mix up compliments and insults. That was a compliment, I liked Tia Carrere for her looks (not so much the personality) but since you've been commented on looks I suppose all's well.

Cannot compare since both belong in different races and each has its own unique features. Better to compare 2 nationalities sharing the same race ... like Chinese and Taiwanese, Indian and Bangladeshi, Malaysians, Thais, Indonesians and Filipinos, etc

She was really cute back when she did Wayne's World and High School High... She hasn't aged well and nowadays isn't so hot. But if people make the comparison, it's definitely a compliment to you..
