Who sings the song in the TV Ad that they have used to advertise the show. I know the song and I know the band are quite famous but I cannot for the life of me remember who they are? Anyone help?????

Im living in the UK. It's the 2nd series Im asking about and it's not actually the theme or anything it's the song in the advert.

Ok, I wish you had said you were in the UK originally. My answer was based on that I was on the USA site for Yahoo! Answers. But it appears that both sites share the same questions and answers. So I did some research, and the answer for the UK's second season of Gray's Anatomy promo is:

They're actually about to start their 3rd season on September 21. That tv promo is "How to Save a Life" by The Fray.

"How to Save a Life" by the Fray is used in the promo and the ad for the show alone
and
"Streetcorner Symphony" by Rob Thomas (I think) is the song used in the ad for Grey's Anatomy, Six Degrees, and Ugly Betty
