I want to know (as detailed as possible) what you do at a t.v audition. (Do they give you lines, etc) PLEASE only answer if you have REALLY been to one before.

It depends on what your auditioning for, but you may have to read some lines or show some reactions to things. You will probably be video taped and photographed. They may also put you in with some other people to see how you look together. You could ask the casting director if s/he knows what kind of wardrobe you should where to be a little more "in character" for whatever role your going for. (I'm a production manager, I've been to lots of these things. Good luck. Just relax and have fun.)

Wait for them to call you in to the room, hand them your head shot if they don't already have it, answer their questions, and read the script they give you as best you can before they say that is enough thank you. You thank them for their time and leave. If you get a call back you do it all over again.

you just sit and smile everytime someone from production comes out, and look like a total dweeb and sucker that you are!!!
