October 4th in the US and late April 2007 in the UK.
The story will continue 65 days after the crash, and will focus on the Others (as led by "Henry Gale") and their history, ranks, and goals. The audience will meet more survivors of the plane crash as new characters in the third season, and their flashbacks will be featured as a unique and central component of the series (those of existing cast members will accordingly be fewer than in previous seasons).Production on Season 3 started on August 4, 2006.

The new season premieres on Wednesday, October 4 @ 9/8c.
Season 2 comes out on dvd Sept 5th

the above are probably individuals it is why they think of it began on wednesday, do not difficulty it did not!! new series will probably start up in march returned-why do not they supply us the recent series now whilst it rather is getting chilly and we would desire to be interior observing lost? yet no, we get it throughout the time of the summer as quickly as we pass over it reason we are exterior having exciting!
