Well - in your pic. you look beautiful so no you don't look like crap - you look great! Please don't consider me an old person with an old opinion - (I just wrote that last sentence after I reread my message).
I've never had the experience of a best friend going so far away - but I know that when high school ended (I'm guessing your younger than that) I had so many friends that we all said we would never be apart. Half of those people stayed friends after high school. Now I'm in my 30's with my own daughter and not in touch with anyone from high school even though alot of them still live in my state, and thats near (maybe a 3 hour trip). Everyone has grown into their own lives.That's what happens, and while it's hard to say good-bye, you'll send letters back and forth until one day - you say- Wow! We've moved on. It will be the same with your friend. You will keep in touch possibly for years, just keeping up with each others lives. You may never find someone that fills her spot - but you will find other friends, and you can tell them old stories about her. That's making memories.
I just told a "new" friend that I've known for 5 years that my best friend from high school just had twin boys. My "new" friend was thrilled and asked to see pictures.
Your old friends never go away - they'll always be there through pics. and letters.
You'll be like me one day - saying that a friend you've known for 5 years is a "new" friend.
I'm sure you didn't expect this kind of answer - but it's life.
I didn't mean to make you look so forward in life - but it will happen before you know it! Just please remember - a true friend will always be there in some form - letters, pics. etc. - A new friend can be found when you least expect it!
OOHHH! Now that I see everyone elses answers, I guess you were talking about a boyfriend. I thought you were talking about a bestfriend. Please read what I wrote anyway and take it to heart. You will be in my spot one day.

Well for a start you arent too bad although yby looking at your face you could do with losing a few lbs, and the hair is a bit of fashion road kill, still that wasnt the question. Are you really serious about being upset over your man going back to Pakistan. the way things are I would have thought even someone adumb would have realised thats the best place for him, away from the West and away from anyone..let him go back to bomb making class or whatever other terroris activity him and his fellow countrymen enjoy. Look at the recent arrests in the uK for trying to blow up planes..all pakistanis. This isnt a racist attack..its common sense. Dump him and save yourself and your kids.

You look fabulous and so sweet. I know it will be hard when he leaves, with your looks I am sure you will find someone in the future, and I hope it is someone who will deserve you and appreciate you. Life is not a comfortable journey, it is hard and rough yet there are good times, not so many I know, but one has to accept it. Be strong after he leaves and focus on your kids, and be patient. You have a cute face and you don't look anything like crap.
