There are lot people who take every thing in negative. Counseling also doesn't help. What are the steps that really made them positive people.

Dear friend,
you always come across negative thinkers. even conselling does not help them. but yes if you want them to be positive do the following. i have tried it to many:-
1) Always greeted the person humourously, with a big smile, laugh, shake hands....praise him/her.
2) always talk about all good things, especially humourous things that makes them feel good and make them laugh.
3) never point out bad things on them.....like "what a kind of dress is this....out of fashion?" never do that....instead try this, "you look good today, very different....i wonder how would you look in jeans, please try it out one day when we meet"
4) Never insist the person to change. when you say him/her to change you mean you dont like him/her. just say "you are great don't change......" that make them feel better. they try to improve again and again, more and more. if you want them to change their way of looks....just say..."hey, let us try this today" or "hey, lam wearing jeans.....you wear......------"
5) whenever the person tells something negative, try to find something positive in that. like if the person says.... "see, this happens to me only. i missed the bus again....my boss will fire me.....". you can say, "why do you think like that, dear. god does everything for good. may be there was something bad was to happen in the bus....like a bomb blast (laugh aloud)...see god loves you every much." (bomb blast is a negative case, but here it strikes the negative. negative clashes neagative to become positive)
5) meditation:- insist your friend for meditation. it helps a lot to keep your mind calm.
7) never compare the person in front of him/her with others. this makes the person feel small and would never change.
8) if you are really close to the person. tell him to say this words aloud in his room with confidence and smile "iam a happy man.....iam the best.....iam jolly" (atleast three times). do it yourself, you might experience the change.

always understand, the cure of every disease is in yourself. only the fact is that you should try to fight with the problem instead of say, "oh, i can't do this".
THATS THE WAY LIFE IS.

People who think negative are generally people who stay to themselves. The only way for a negative person to turn into a positive person is for them to be surrounded by positive thinking people, people who give off positive energy. One on one conseling is not going to be enough. People who are accepting, people who care, love and generate a positive ora. The change will not happen in one day, but in due time you will see a positive change in that persons attitude. "Kill em' with kindness"

Really it is very difficult.There are people who r always very sad and angry and make the surroundings also very bad.Explain them about the positive things for a certain period and if they r not willing to change themselves, avoid them.Or u will be changed into a negative person.Some people find happiness only by complaining always .Ezplain them the difference between being careful and the negative thoughts. We can be careful in our life, but no need to be afraid always.

Adults who are negative thinkers have made the decision to be negative. Adults who are positive thinkers have made the decision to be positive. (This assumes no mental or physical illness.) Since it is their personal decision, you can't convert them.

simple.Be an optimist and say to urself "I am good, I always get out with a correct solution and I think i am going to handle things more than i can" atleast for 10 times a day. u will find the change in u within one week.

Positive is not what you want.

Realistic is what you want.

For cases that fall under the DSM-IV, there is CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy)

For everyone else, there is usually no answer, and just get it within certain boundaries and it will be Ok.

Hang out with them...be a good example for them...and have a positive influence on them.

Put them on a wall separating Hell and Heaven and ask them to think positively to choose the best.....Ha.Ha.Ha....you know they all will think positively.

force them to be fully negative> insist them repeatedly ....then , slowly they will be normal ....create a environment , so that they should teach you the value of positive attitude....
Note : u should act like that...dont involve urself more
orelse problem will be interchanged

by making them understanding that negative is wrong and even harmful and positive is useful and good for them and us and for other all also.
